It’s a legal entity wherein the liability of its shareholders is limited to the value of the share capital they hold in the company. DWC LLC must have –

Branch Company
A branch is a representative office of a legal entity which already exists outside of the DWTC Free Zone (local or international). A branch company –
- Derives its power and authority from the parent entity thus does not have separate legal personality.
- Does not have a board of directors or secretary for company
- Must retain the same name as the parent entity and end with the designation (Branch)

DWTC Free Zone offers a wide range of business activities which are categorized into the following licenses:
- Commercial License: Carrying out commercial activities limited to those specified in the license, which allow the import, export, sale, distribution and storage of items permissible within the license.
- General Trading License: Carrying out commercial activities across an unrestricted range of activities, products and/or items using this license, and as such licenses the holder to import, export, sell, distribute and/or store all such categories.
- Professional License: Carrying out the services specified in the license within the Free Zone and elsewhere in the UAE (subject to local licenses and permits that may be required in other jurisdictions). Service – Advisory, general consulting, software implementation, training, onsite repair, catering and human resource services.
- Event management License: Organizing of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) as well as any Business and Leisure events and the provision of all related goods and services being hosted by an organizer.
- Business Operating Permits: One of DWTC Authority’s unique selling points is the option for locally licensed onshore entities to either relocate or be established in the Free Zone. This is achieved though the issuing of a Business Operating Permit to entities already licensed by the Dubai Department of Economic Development that want to obtain a lease and operate in the Free Zone.

Commercial/ Professional/ Event Management With Dedicated Desk – AED 28,300 (US$ 7,700)
Commercial/ Professional/ Event Management With Exclusive Office – AED 51,300 (US$ 13,980)
General Trading License With Exclusive Office – AED 52,500 (US$ 14,300)
The above packages include license and registration fees, and annual smart-desk/office fees. The company would be entitled to 2 visas.
BESPOKE LICENSES
The following license fees are applicable, per annum:
Professional or Commercial License
- Registration and License Fee (year 1): AED 17,500
- License Renewal (Year 2) = AED 12,500
- License Renewal (year 3): AED 18,750
General Trading License
- Registration and License Fee (year 1): AED 20,000
- License Renewal (year 2): AED 15,000
- License Renewal (year 3): AED 22,500
You can also take offices in the DWTC, including the newly constructed One Central. The company would be eligible for 1 visa for every 8 square metres of office space.
VISAS
The company will have to apply for an Establishment Card, in order to commence the processing of visas. An additional document required is a Power of Attorney, in case a PRO is appointed.

Power of Attorney – AED 1,500 (US$ 410)
Employment Visa – applicant outside the country – AED 1,500 (US$ 410)
Employment Visa – applicant inside the country, with status change – AED 2,720 (US$ 740)
