The UAE Economic Substance Regulations have just been released.
These Regulations, that were imminent from some time, define Relevant Entities as those carrying out specific activities , and the requirements that these entities need to comply with in order to demonstrate economic substance. This is required for entities that wish to claim relief under Double Taxation Avoidance Treaties, or DTAAs.
